Product Description
HEYMAT+ is a collection of 4 different design mats created by Kristine Five Melvær. The collection consists of Sand, Stein, Sjø and Strå.
The mats are particularly well-suited for outdoor use, but the distinct nordic style will grace the interior of most homes.
A three-dimensional pattern is used on all designs and is both tactile and meditative, creating a calm atmosphere by your doorstep. The coarse pile is made from 100% recycled plastic with an anti-slip backing in SBR rubber. The quality is equivalent of an industrial mat, with high absorption capacity.
HEYMAT+ Sand by Kristine Five Melvær
Sand is inspired by Japanese Zen gardens. It comes in a calm beige colour that matches the name of the mat beautifully.

HEYMAT+ Stein by Kristine Five Melvær
Stein’s simple design with soft, comfortable movements in a beautiful and versatile grey colour, is inspired by nature and Japanese Zen gardens.

HEYMAT+ Strå by Kristine Five Melvær
Strå is inspired by grass swaying in a warm summer breeze, beautifully illustrated by a soft, geometric design in a deep and delightful green colour.

HEYMAT+ Sjø by Kristine Five Melvær
Sjø is inspired by calm waves rolling across the ocean, enforced by the mat’s deep and delicate blue hue. The three-dimensional pattern is both tactile and meditative, creating a calm atmosphere by your doorstep.

Environment & Sustainability
Plastic waste is a growing environmental issue. According to Norstat, 68% of people consider plastic waste in the oceans the biggest environmental threat of our lifetime. A sustainable solution is Recycling, so now we have launched HEYMAT+ with a pile made from 100% recycled plastic.
Cleaning & Maintenance
HEYMAT+ is the mat that makes life a little easier. The soft surface collects sand, dust and other materials, and when time comes for cleaning it, the solutions are simple:
Daily vacuum cleaning is most efficient. A smaller mat can be shaken to release the particles. The mat can also be rinsed if needed. Hang to dry afterwards.
Proper cleaning and maintenance should be done 2-4 times a year, and will extend the lifetime of the mat.
Scandinavian design with it’s simplicity, minimalism, light, natural materials, functionality, and high-quality craftsmanship.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Designed to keep your interiors pristine, saving you the time and effort of cleaning.
High-tech functionality with durable materials.
The three-dimensional surface effectively scrape and traps dirt, mud and moisture.
Highly absorbent textile ensures a dry entrance regardless of weather conditions.
